good news all around

1. i got a 91% on my renal/endocrine test. awesome.
2. i had guilt-free free time after the test, so i came home and started assessing the sneaugeot. it was a complete rustbucket after winter and salty roads, and i wasn't sure how much permanent damage had been done. looked like besides the rear wheel and chain, everything else was just filthy, but still serviceable. the inner chainring is still in great shape, and if i run it on the inside of the spider w/ short bolts, it should work well. rockin.
3. went down to the bikeshop and talked fixed with the mechanic there while i got to use tools for free to take apart the bottom bracket. had never done that before. went very well. ended up buying tools though, so that in the future i can do it at home if i need to. cool.
4. came home and rebuilt the bottom bracket. had never done that before. went very well. i love learning new skills. sure, overhauling a bottom bracket isn't hard, but i'd never done it before, and now i have. sweet.
5. now i just need to make the sneaugeout not only rideable, but actually a good conversion is:

-seat
-short chainring bolts
-chain
-rear wheel (fixed or old road, i have a spare cog/lockring/locktite sitting around)

now i know bill has several old seats sitting around, and i know kyle has an old wheel.... this might come together pretty quickly, and then i have a, once again, functional bad weather/bar bike.

then, the fetish can either be given to naomi, sold, or parted out for profit. badass.

also, i have 4 days off now. AMAZING.
