Imperial Brewery / Seaboard West Africa Flour Mill

So... hypothetically... if Jake and Kyle and I had gotten into the abandoned flour mill near I-35 and Southwest Boulevard (which we didn't), and if we had taken pictures (which we didn't) of our explorations and climbing (which never happened).... they might look something like THIS.

*note: We never saw anything saying "No Trespassing," "Keep Out," "Private Property," or anything along those lines anywhere around or in the mill. So, as far as we know, there was no reason we weren't allowed to be in there.*

Lucid Dream #1

I had a lucid dream this morning, as I was sleeping in... I was out really late last night exploring the old Imperial Brewery Company / Rodney Flour Mill building, so I didn't go to sleep til about 2:30 AM. I woke up at with one of my alarms around probably 7-8 pm, and then fell back asleep til 10:45... needless to say, I missed classes. BUT, during this morning sleep, I realized I was dreaming and managed to open my "dream eyes," which is always pretty tricky, as I am always worried my real eyes will pop open as well. I had a few moments of lucidity, but not enough to really go do anything impossible/interesting. Will report back on the next one.

Exploration Place

So we went for a recon ride this afternoon. We scoped out an abandoned train-station-looking-building... its huge and creepy looking. We're gonna go explore it... tonight. Pics up soon : )

Old Movies

So I am home in Wichita for the weekend, and I was ransacking my closet upstairs late last night, like I do EVERY time I come home, because I am an inherently nostalgic person, I think. Anyway, I found a ton of old CD's and DVD's, including one that that I had burned from a VHS tape that the Cohlmia's had found sometime last year.... it contained a number of "action" movies that we had made years and years ago... 1994-5 or so?

Anyway, here they are:

Guest starring Matt Meikleham as McBoone Sr.

Bill:
Don't watch this movie if you are scared of the dark. In fact, don't watch this movie if it ever gets dark anywhere near where you live. It's that scary. Bill is undead. And he's out to get me. And he is ubiquitous, kinda like Mexican food from Ubiquitaco, that taco place that will deliver tacos anywhere in the world. Well, that's still hypothetical, but that restaurant is MY brainchild, so don't go getting any bright ideas. Anyway the movie is "scary" and by "scary" I mean hilarious. The car scene is quite possibly the funniest silent scream I've ever seen, if I do say so myself.
