bikes

i don't feel like doing work so i'm going to drink some whisky and look at bikes online.

here's something that is like a bike kinda.

also i wish they had foreign exchange programs for bikes. i'd like to send my bike over to tokyo for a semester or something, and pick it back up, and have it look like this.

or like this

or maybe like this

and maybe it could bring back a hot asian girlfriend like this

and then it could go to scotland for a while, and come back looking like this

or like this

(that last one is mighty close already)

ps: i switched my bars back to risers. i just love em.

ps: i'm going to new zealand, and despite it's best attempts to screw me over by switching final dates and making me switch my flights, KUMC failed to foil me!

More Acoustic Metal

tell me this isn't a great song. i dare you.

however, the actual song is probably not the angry metal you're thinking of. it sounds alot like this, just electric. anyway, awesome.

Acoustic Metal

An acoustic version of Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast." This is some dude's rendition of the song that plays during the intro of the movie "Spun." Original credit for the idea/performance is to Dijali Zwan, who played it in the original soundtrack.

Dethklok - Thunderhorse

By far the most amazingly hardcore deathmetal i've heard since we found out our module director's son was in a band called Angelcorpse.

watch the video. it's amazing.

warning: metal (blood, violence, sex, etc.)

London Calling

I just watched MASH SF, *the* fixed gear movie that everyone has been anticipating. it costs $40 for a 54 min DVD. needless to say, I didn't pay this, and watched a bootleg version. anyway, the point is that it wasn't really that good. this video is 10x as entertaining in 1/10th the time. watch it.

only garfield comic that's ever made me laugh

some people figured out that if you remove all of garfield's dialogue, the entire comic strip becomes pretty surreal/bizarre/depressing, imagining this lonely man talking to his unresponsive cat. kinda like me, i guess, but skoney meows back at least. and at least i have a girlfriend, unlike jon.

anyway, here's one of them w/ the cat's dialogue removed, and it's mighty funny.
